Review stitch density carefully. Even though the PNG doesn’t show stitches, any digitized version should avoid excessive overlap in the butterfly’s body or flower centers—those areas trap moisture and wear faster after repeated washing.
Confirm hoop size compatibility. At full scale, it fits comfortably in a 4"x4" hoop, but for caps or narrow apron pockets, scaling down below 3" risks losing definition in wing veining and petal edges.
Use proper stabilizer. Tear-away works well on stable cottons; cutaway is non-negotiable for knits or lightweight linens.
